Launch notes: why Comparepedia exists
Comparepedia started as an internal audit tool. Today it helps analysts contrast evolving AI narratives with canonical references.
Dual-column purpose
We wanted a layout that surfaced tone, recency, and attribution instantly. Each column keeps edit times visible because freshness is the first quality signal reviewers look for.
The UI purposely resists flashy cards so screenshots remain legible for compliance reviews.
Caching strategy
Grokipedia and Wikipedia responses are cached for up to an hour with stale-while-revalidate. This means reviewers see a consistent snapshot while bots stay within upstream rate limits.
If either provider changes markup, the parser drops back to Markdown snippets instead of breaking rendering entirely.
